The day job

An exciting role working with FMCG and General Merchandise clients to improve their eCommerce performance. Working in a team of five, and reporting to the Positioning Team Manager you will be the main point of contact for your clients, ensuring that they gain the most out of their Brand View service through regular engagement, training and query resolution. A consultative approach is required to translate client’s eCommerce aspirations into regular reporting, key performance indicators, targets and insights. Success will be measured through client usage, renewal rate, spotting new opportunities with your clients and overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with other departments at Brand View to maintain the highest standards for our clients.

  • 3 years B2B agency account management experience

We are looking for a temporary Analyst, to work full-time at our Reading office, who has the ability to manage and update datasets and settings. You will be working with some of our largest FMCG retailer clients, ensuring their matching rules are in place, enabling comparison of pricing and promotions strategies. You must have a passion for our brand and their brand and want to join a fast growing team who love what they do. You will also be a member of our Commercial Team and cannot shy from detail; you will have a compulsion to manage the detail with an exceptional degree of accuracy.

 

The Day Job

This role reports to the Account Director, who is based between Reading and London. You will be using Brand View tools to adapt datasets and matching rules relevant to our client’s business. You will be also conducting regular QC of the data and adjust settings were applicable. Your success will be measured by improving matching quality and accuracy, as well as overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with other departments at Brand View to maintain the highest standards for our clients.

 

We want at a minimum

  • Minimum of 2 years experience analysing and interpreting data
  • Minimum of 1 year experience analysing and interpreting data
  • Ability to prioritise workload and a high level of organisation
  • A high level of competency in English and Excel with an ability to think laterally and creatively

You will be involved in the implementation of various projects across the Brand View platform. The fast-paced, evolving nature of the business often requires rapid development and delivery of working, well-structured and tested code to very short timescales.

 

The Day Job

An excellent developer, you will also have proven team leadership skills, taking responsibility for the workload of the infrastructure team. You will be able to manage multiple developers from a technical point of view, offering support and assistance with their work. You will be used to working on the back-end infrastructure of any app from the data access layers through windows services and cross-process communications. We are looking for a brilliant Pricing Data Analyst, to work full-time at our client’s head office, who has the ability to manage and update datasets and settings to support our client’s in-store and online strategies. You will be working with one of our largest FMCG retailer clients, ensuring that they have the best visibility of their competitive price position through matching their products to competitors products; enabling comparison of pricing and promotions strategies. You will help educate them in Brand View services and help them get the most out of our services, optimising Brand View’s reporting and analytics. The Day Job

This role reports to the Account Director, who is based in Reading, but you will be working Onsite at our client’s HQ in Hertfordshire. You will begin your training in Reading, though you should be in commuting distance to Welwyn Garden City. You will have regular remote contact with the team at Brand View and will periodically visit our office in Reading, Berkshire. You will be working with the Pricing team at our client by analysing data, adapting datasets so they are relevant to our client’s business and conducting regular QC of the data. You will use advanced Brand View tools and processes in managing large datasets. Your success will be measured through the calibre of the service you will help maintain, usage, spotting new ways of improving data quality and accuracy, as well as overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with other departments at Brand View to maintain the highest standards for your client.

Is this you?

The role sits in the Service Quality team in our UK HQ office in Reading.  We are looking for a high energy individual with excellent organisational and analytical skills to support the Service Quality Manager in the team. You will be involved in the many facets of quality control, ensuring outstanding delivery to our clients, and therefore must have a passion for our brand, understand what we do, and want to join a fast moving team who love what they do.

 

The day job

  • Run thorough QC on client data; identifying potential issues, running root cause analysis, and documenting progress to report back to the business and clients
  • Work closely with the Service Quality Manager, Account Managers, Project Management and Operations to provide a holistic view of data quality
  • Report back to clients directly, supporting Account Managers to deliver QC reviews
  • Work with Brand View’s mapping technology to monitor success
  • Communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner across cross-functional and technical departments, and company management where required
  • Be energetic, driven and committed to client success, while working under tight time constraints and pressure
  • Be confident and proactive – identify, document, and resolve QC issues, whilst suggesting areas for improvements for our processes

 

We want, at a minimum

  • Logic and problem solving abilities with experience of analysing and interpreting data
  • Self-starter with ability to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Analytical – ability/experience to accurately undertake key data analysis
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel and Google Docs

Is this you?

We’re looking for a bright and logical Technical Project Coordinator for a crucial hire at Brand View, responsible for overseeing all elements of a large-scale web scraping platform, including resourcing, delivery schedule, data quality, and issue investigation and support.

This role sits within the Product and Platform Team working closely with the Project Managers and Service Delivery team. Working day-to-day with a team of international, outsourced, developers.

You will be required to learn and fully understand scraping methods and requirements, allowing you to effectively investigate, prioritise and resolve issues.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all web scraped data is integrated into Brand View on a daily basis and work with the Project Managers to coordinate and prioritise new web scrapes.

 

We want, at a minimum, someone who can

  • Ensure that all scraped data is collected on a daily basis in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage the workload for a team of outsourced developers, using online platforms
  • Project manage and prioritise web scraping requests
  • Investigate queries and issues raised from throughout the business and take corrective and preventive measures
  • Triage issues and bug reports to ensure they are addressed within the target SLA
  • Manage timeline expectations and frequently changing priorities
  • Effectively communicate problems or behaviours back to other teams
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of web scraping processes at Brand View, raising development requests as and when required
