Is This You?
You will be involved in the implementation of various projects across the Brand View platform. The fast-paced, evolving nature of the business often requires rapid development and delivery of working, well-structured and tested code to very short timescales.

 

The Day Job
An excellent developer, you will be used to working on the back-end infrastructure of any app from the data access layers through windows services and cross-process communications. You will be a quick learner and have adaptable development skills that you can apply to the varied projects and tasks you’ll undertake. You will also be heavily involved in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing core projects within Brand View.

 

We want at a minimum

  • Excellent code development skills in C#, WCF & SQL
  • Experience of writing & installing Windows Services
  • Good understanding of how to write high performance, efficient code
  • A thorough, detailed approach to testing and debugging software – you will always strive to ensure code is robust and reliable
  • Strong communication skills

 

Even Better if

  • You have experience/understanding of cloud-based platforms and big data (AWS, Dynamo, etc)

The day job

An exciting role working with FMCG and General Merchandise clients to improve their eCommerce performance. Working in a team of five, and reporting to the Positioning Team Manager you will be the main point of contact for your clients, ensuring that they gain the most out of their Brand View service through regular engagement, training and query resolution. A consultative approach is required to translate client’s eCommerce aspirations into regular reporting, key performance indicators, targets and insights. Success will be measured through client usage, renewal rate, spotting new opportunities with your clients and overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with other departments at Brand View to maintain the highest standards for our clients.

  • 3 years B2B agency account management experience
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations, training sessions and product demonstrations

We are looking for a brilliant Account Manager who has the ability to work in an advisory capacity with the ability to sufficiently understand clients in-store and online strategies and how Brand View can support these. A strong knowledge and appreciation of the pricing and promotional sector is required with the ability to understand new market sectors. You will have experience of Account handling on an international level and will be responsible for clients who are interested in all of our services. You will be working with some of our largest FMCG and GM regional and global clients, educating and helping them understand how best to use our services and supporting them through training, best practice advice, and enabling them to measure and drive their retail strategy through Brand View’s analytics. You must have a passion for our brand and want to join a fast growing team who love what they do.

 

The Day Job

This role reports to the Client Services Director working in a team of six. You will develop a deep understanding of your client’s trading challenges and aspirations and gain their trust through your technical knowledge of Brand View. You will seek and capture opportunities by creating and maintaining key client relationships so that Brand View remains an indispensable service with a high return on our client investment. You will have a portfolio of 20 to 30 high value and strategic accounts and conduct regular service reviews as well as weekly contact onsite and from our office on all matters relating to maintaining the highest level of service. Your success will be measured through client usage, renewal rate, spotting new opportunities with your clients and overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with other departments at Brand View to maintain the highest standards for our clients.

 

We want at a minimum

  • Understanding and appreciation of pricing and category management
  • Experience of the FMCG and General Merchandise Markets
  • Ability to manage large and strategically important accounts
  • Ability to manage and build collaborative client relationships by being influential, engaging, and driven
  • Engagement and training skills to be able to present Brand Views products and services
  • Ability to network around businesses and land new services, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities both in-store and online
  • Experience of having delivered an extremely high level of client satisfaction consistently within large global clients
  • Skillfully seizing all commercial opportunities to increase business

We are looking for a temporary Analyst, to work full-time at our Reading office, who has the ability to manage and update datasets and settings. You will be working with some of our largest FMCG retailer clients, ensuring their matching rules are in place, enabling comparison of pricing and promotions strategies. You must have a passion for our brand and their brand and want to join a fast growing team who love what they do. You will also be a member of our Commercial Team and cannot shy from detail; you will have a compulsion to manage the detail with an exceptional degree of accuracy.

 

The Day Job

This role reports to the Account Director, who is based between Reading and London. You will be using Brand View tools to adapt datasets and matching rules relevant to our client’s business. You will be also conducting regular QC of the data and adjust settings were applicable. Your success will be measured by improving matching quality and accuracy, as well as overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with other departments at Brand View to maintain the highest standards for our clients.

 

We want at a minimum

  • Minimum of 1 year experience analysing and interpreting data
  • Ability to prioritise workload and a high level of organisation
  • A high level of competency in English and Excel with an ability to think laterally and creatively
  • Confidence and proactivity

Is this you?

We’re looking for a bright and logical Technical Project Coordinator for a crucial hire at Brand View, responsible for overseeing all elements of a large-scale web scraping platform, including resourcing, delivery schedule, data quality, and issue investigation and support.

This role sits within the Product and Platform Team working closely with the Project Managers and Service Delivery team. Working day-to-day with a team of international, outsourced, developers.

You will be required to learn and fully understand scraping methods and requirements, allowing you to effectively investigate, prioritise and resolve issues.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all web scraped data is integrated into Brand View on a daily basis and work with the Project Managers to coordinate and prioritise new web scrapes.

 

We want, at a minimum, someone who can

  • Ensure that all scraped data is collected on a daily basis in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage the workload for a team of outsourced developers, using online platforms
  • Project manage and prioritise web scraping requests
  • Investigate queries and issues raised from throughout the business and take corrective and preventive measures
  • Triage issues and bug reports to ensure they are addressed within the target SLA
  • Manage timeline expectations and frequently changing priorities
  • Effectively communicate problems or behaviours back to other teams
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of web scraping processes at Brand View, raising development requests as and when required

 

Even better if

  • You have 1+ years experience working in a technical environment
  • You can show proven ability to organize, plan, and execute in a complex, multi-project environment
  • You have a moderate understanding of computer programming, terminology, and technologies
  • You have experience in managing outsourced teams
