Is This You?

You will be involved in the implementation of various projects across the Edge/Brand View platform. The fast paced, evolving nature of the business often requires rapid development and delivery of working, well-structured and tested code to very short timescales.

 

The Day Job

An excellent developer, you will be used to working on the back-end infrastructure of any app from the data access layers through windows services and cross process communications . You will be a quick learner, and have adaptable development skills that you can apply to the varied projects and tasks you’ll undertake. You will also be heavily involved with the ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing core projects within Brand View.

 

We want at a minimum….

  • Excellent code development skills in C#, WCF & SQL
  • Experience of writing & installing Windows Services
  • Good understanding of how to write high performance, efficient code

The day job

An exciting role working with FMCG and General Merchandise clients to improve their eCommerce performance. Working in a team of five, and reporting to the Positioning Team Manager you will be the main point of contact for your clients, ensuring that they gain the most out of their Edge/Brand View service through regular engagement, training and query resolution. A consultative approach is required to translate client’s eCommerce aspirations into regular reporting, key performance indicators, targets and insights. Success will be measured through client usage, renewal rate, spotting new opportunities with your clients and overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with other departments at Edge/Brand View to maintain the highest standards for our clients.

We are looking for a brilliant Account Manager who has the ability to work in an advisory capacity with the ability to sufficiently understand clients in-store and online strategies and how Edge/Brand View can support these. A strong knowledge and appreciation of the pricing and promotional sector is required with the ability to understand new market sectors. You will have experience of Account handling on an international level and will be responsible for clients who are interested in all of our services. You will be working with some of our largest FMCG and GM regional and global clients, educating and helping them understand how best to use our services and supporting them through training, best practice advice, and enabling them to measure and drive their retail strategy through Edge/Brand View’s analytics. You must have a passion for our brand and want to join a fast growing team who love what they do.

 

The Day Job

This role reports to the Client Services Director working in a team of six. You will develop a deep understanding of your client’s trading challenges and aspirations and gain their trust through your technical knowledge of Edge/Brand View. You will seek and capture opportunities by creating and maintaining key client relationships so that Edge/Brand View remains an indispensable service with a high return on our client investment. You will have a portfolio of 20 to 30 high value and strategic accounts and conduct regular service reviews as well as weekly contact onsite and from our office on all matters relating to maintaining the highest level of service. Your success will be measured through client usage, renewal rate, spotting new opportunities with your clients and overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with other departments at Edge to maintain the highest standards for our clients.

 

We want at a minimum

  • Understanding and appreciation of pricing and category management
  • Experience of the FMCG and General Merchandise markets
  • Ability to manage large and strategically important accounts
  • Ability to manage and build collaborative client relationships by being influential, engaging, and driven

You must be able to then build sales opportunities and manage the pipeline from getting the clients to engage, preparing thought-provoking proposals, and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of the Edge/Brand View service through to closing the sale.

Is this you?
We are looking for a bright and logical candidate for a crucial role within our Operations team. You will use your attention to detail to apply a set of validation rules to field submitted data, ensuring that only verified data makes it into our database. As we deal with thousands of products every day, you must have a high degree of accuracy and consistency which must be applied to each product you work on. This role involves working closely with internal teams as well as external agencies so good written and verbal communication skills are key. You need to be diligent, insightful and reliable as you are responsible for delivering accurate data to our clients.
Responsibilities

 

The day job
Working within a small team, you will track, monitor and validate data submitted from field collections on a daily basis. This will involve the learning and mastering of a large set of validation rules and being able to deal with a high volume of products in a quick and accurate manner. You will liaise with internal teams to set up new collections as and when required by our clients, and handle internal and external queries to the satisfaction of all parties. You will be passionate about maintaining the integrity of our database and delivering quality information to our clients.

You will be responsible for reviewing data within accounts and amending any data quality issues as appropriate, within agreed lead times liaising with Project Management. This is a role working closely with the Project Managers and Operations team members that allows you to show business acumen and a strong understanding of processes.

 

The day job
The role requires you to clearly understand requirements with key projects and work with the Project Managers to identify and rectify quality issues. You will take ownership of the data quality process and ensure reviews are completed to deadlines, reporting back to the Operations Manager and the Project Managers involved. The QC and Data Analyst will be critical in flagging areas in need of review, and completing any changes to the data as necessary. You will be performing a broad range of data quality procedures and will work independently of the main team, on specific key projects.

 

We want, at a minimum

  • Understand the scope and requirements of a project and agree clear data quality success criterias
  • Take ownership of the quality control process, suggesting areas for improvements along with possible solutions
  • Monitor the quality checks of multiple project deliverables concurrently
  • Proactively resolve any data issues as found within the Brand View platform
  • Ensure each delivery is being done to specification and effectively communicate relevant information to Project Managers and account managers
  • Demonstrate a proven record of quality control processes
  • Report on the accuracy of the checks, and track work taken to achieve the specification target
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Be influential and energetic to project success while working under tight time constraints and pressure
