Is this you?

A new role has been created to be part of the Client Services Team in our UK HQ office in Reading. We are looking for a high energy individual with excellent organisational and analytical skills to manage accounts within the Client Services Team. You will be working with clients who use Brand View’s ecommerce analytics. Your time will be spent helping brands monitor how their products are represented online. You will be analysing data to produce insights to show clients how to improve their online retailing performance. You must have a passion for our brand and want to understand what we do, as well as a desire to join a fast growing team who love what they do.

The day job

  • Account managing some of the biggest global FMCG and General Merchandise brands
  • Using a consultative approach to advise clients on how to use Brand View’s software to track and manage the performance of their products online
  • Attending and presenting at client meetings; training clients to ensure they gain maximum value from Brand View’s services
  • Analysing retailer data to produce engaging insights for clients
  • Overseeing up to 20 client accounts, ensuring clients are gaining a return from the service they are receiving, leading to contract renewals and upgrades

We want at a minimum…

  • 2-3 year’s experience managing client relationships
  • Comfortable analysing and interpreting data, with a high level of competency in English, Maths, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Confident and proactive with strong relationship building skills

Even better if…

  • You have had experience in online retailing either at a manufacturer, retailer or agency

Is this you?

With a background in software development, or testing you will have excellent coding skills as well as the analytical approach of a tester. You will be innovative and have great problem-solving skills and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic software development team.

The day job

Being well integrated into the Development Team, you will have a mixture of excellent technical ability, and superb communication skills. You will be writing software to test software, using tools such as Selenium Web Driver, and creating bespoke services and applications to execute various test scenarios. Our aim is to build an extensive suite of automated functional and regression tests to support our rapid development process and you will be involved in improving and expanding the automation framework to test the entire product end-to-end.

We want at a minimum…

  • Excellent C# skills
  • Experience in using Selenium WebDriver
  • Exposure to Unit Testing using MSTest or NUnit
  • Outstanding communication & documentation skills
  • A near obsessive, analytical approach to manual testing and exercising a new feature
  • An excellent understanding of the complexities and pitfalls associated with testing web applications
  • Experience of using Visual Studio
  • 2+ years’ experience in a testing or software development role

Even better if…

  • SQL skills to support validation of test results
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration using tools such as Team City
  • Experience of developing .NET web applications using C#/VB/ASP.NET/Javascript

The day job

  • Implementing UI features in the Brand View web application
  • Working closely with other members of the development team to deliver new features
  • Contributing and discussing ideas in the specification and design stages
  • Exceeding client expectations and delighting users with clear, concise and attractive UI
  • Contributing to an evolving UI team, expressing your opinions, and helping shape the future of the application and its development
  • Using your debugging and testing skills to solve problems – you know your way around the dev tools

We want at a minimum…

  • Exceptional JavaScript ability
  • Developing cross-browser compatible solutions, including IE9+ and evergreen browsers
  • Experience of JavaScript frameworks, especially in developing AngularJS applications
  • Excitement about emerging web standards and technologies
  • Experience of modern development techniques including modular CSS and component-orientated architecture
  • Experience of CSS pre-processors, especially SASS
  • Ability to communicate your UX decisions with your peers and less technical colleagues

Even better if you have…

  • Experience working with Git
  • Exposure to .NET platform (including web services, and/or Web API)
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries, such as LoDash and Handlebars JS
  • Experience of responsive web design
