The fall is here, and i've got many exciting projects to look forward to. Yesterday I was a model for the internal IKEA-catalogue, serving drinks with my feet while doing handstands. Everything was confidential, so I couldnt take any pictures for you, sorry!

I bought a new pair of rubber boots for my fire show, you can see them in the background on the picture. They're from H&M.

I welcome myself back from my summer holiday with this post. Hope you've had a great time!

I found this wall when i was in Antwerp, Belgium. I couldn't leave it for several minutes, I was so fascinated. You could peak through holes in the wall to see an old ruined garden, probably abandoned for many decades.

In the picture i'm wearing Acne Jeans, T-shirt by Johan Lindeberg, bag from Cheap Monday, and a cap from a well known low-price store in central Skåne, Bo Ohlsson in Tomelilla! ]]>

Sorry I've been neglecting to write for the last week, but it's been the most amazing weather here, so I've practically been outside all the time.

Yesterday i did another fire performance, this time on stilts with my new fire wings. I can hardly walk today, they were so heavy to carry, and i couldn't put them down for a second.

I'ts a bit hard to see, but i'm wearing a trench from bzr, a motorcycle helmet and 2 meter long trousers. Now you're probably thinking "where on earth can you buy 2 m long pants?" Well, at least thats the question i got after the performance, laughed until tears came out of my eyes.

Shop organic!

A wonderful double-breasted cotton cardigan.

I have oil stains on a lot of my clothes from pouring lamp oil on my fire equipment, and one or two burnmarks aswell.

Before i changed to my performance suit i wore Jeans from Dr Denim Jeansmakers, a long sleeved t-shirt from Diesel, a cardigan from Emilio at MQ, shoes from Adidas bought at Sneakers & Stuff in Malmö and another scarf from Indiska.

Now I'm off to rehearse in the sun!

STAY http://www.brandview.com/blog/petter/27/stay Mon, 12 May 2008 08:44:09 +0200 Petter Gantelius Uncategorized 72c2b32b1dc5dc058d48d837173112f9 What’s up with that? Practically every day I read about how extremely dangerous it is to be in the sun. You will most likely get skin cancer, sooner or later.

But come on. If I’m not in the sun I get depressed. And being depressed means I don’t eat properly. And I stop exercising the way I should. I loose interest in my work, and even my friends. That’s a lot worse than the risk of getting skin cancer.

No, stay out in the sun, and live your life to the full. Blame me if you catch a bit of cancer.

For a day in the botanical garden: Levi’s engineered jeans shorts, a shirt from H&M, Ray Ban Wayfarer shades and loafers from Vagabond.

I've been away at some performances the last week, and have loads of pictures to post. When I get them from my photographer that is. It'll happen in a few days.

For now I'll just post this picture of me enjoying the evening sun with a hamburger and a beer (organic of course, have to relieve my conscience).

A fire show in a industrial area, with only a big banner post to divide the stage from the backstage area. It’s not even dark outside. Glamorous? I think not.

Still doing my best to keep it stylish though, with a shirt from Bagutta, a vest from Filippa K and shoes from Vagabond.

Impossible situations http://www.brandview.com/blog/petter/15/impossible_situations Sun, 27 Apr 2008 00:19:41 +0200 Petter Gantelius Uncategorized 71850900869d7ab58292f8def03cc178 This afternoon I found myself trapped in an unreal situation, standing in the very heart of Stockholm (Hötorget) with only a black horse statue to keep me company. And as if this wasn’t enough, my mission was to transport the horse, in a taxi, to the theater where only hours later I would use the same horse as a stage prop. The ordered taxi arrives on time, but the very moment the driver sees the horse he backs up and drives away again. So there I am, in a big hurry to get back in time for the sound check, ordering another taxi, this time a large one. And what happens?

Rain starts pouring down.

Cold, wet, hungry and completely stressed out, I was the laughing stock of the day for the local fruit dealers.

Looking back at this situation, I should’ve chosen warmer clothes to wear, as usual, but I didn’t, as usual. A pair of black jeans from Acne, jacket from H&M and my ugliest but most comfortable sneakers from Lejon (take 3 pay for 2..).

So, if you ever see a presumably crazy person shivering beside a strange object, with a empty look in their eyes, it might very well be me.

Stay sane!

Cabin crew, arm slides, cross check and report http://www.brandview.com/blog/petter/13/cabin_crew_arm_slides_cross_check_and_report Tue, 22 Apr 2008 08:15:53 +0200 Petter Gantelius Uncategorized a93cc5320ed23df1ef3e1f6bc3f7483e Traveling time for Petter, will probably take most of my day even though the flight duration is just 55 minutes. This time I’m heading for Stockholm, will be performing at a fashion show for L'Oreal. Since I also worked as a creative producer in this production it’s going to be very exciting to experience the final results. I’ll be performing with some wicked characters that I’ve developed over the last months. Pictures will eventually be posted, but I want to try it on stage first.

I realized that I’ve already become an old fart when my hand baggage consists of an inflatable pillow, a sleeping mask and ear plugs for a one hour flight, but hey, I think I like being an old fart.

Since flight seats always suck, I’m going to put really comfortable clothes on, in this case a pair of baggy jeans from Levis Engineered and a huge cardigan from Mid.Munk. I’ll want to loose my shoes as soon as I take my seat, but I don't want to pester people around me, so I’m wearing my latest pair of shoes from Lacoste that still smell like roses and raspberries, and some brand new socks. I love looking at people around me, so a pair of reflecting shades bought at a gas station somewhere in Germany will serve me well.

And, DON’T do as I do and fly Domestic flights on short trips. It’s plain stupid. My excuse is my 10 full flight cases that are more or less impossible to bring on a train. Which is even more stupid. Make some changes goddammit!

See you in Stockholm!
